从事计算基因组学和群体遗传学研究,关注生物表型的基因组基础,基因组多态性的群体与统计遗传学,和进化有关计算生物学问题等。发表论文40余篇,部分工作发表在Genome Res.,Mol Biol Evol.,Cell Res.,Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. U S A.等重要期刊。主持国家自然科学基金委,中科院,上海市等资助的科研项目多项。获得教育部自然科学一等奖, 国家自然科学二等奖。
